In an effort to learn how large alarm monitoring companies operate, why would one based in Birmingham have two mobile frequencies licensed in various cities throughout Alabama?

Central Station, Inc (About CSI) has 464.4375 & 465.9875 licensed as mobiles in Enterprise, Montgomery, Orange Beach, Huntsville & Florence. Are these data links? I haven’t had time to program them for listening in the Florence area.

Take a listen and likely you will hear the various ALARM Systems broadcasting back to the "Central Station" who monitors for multiple sub-alarm company names.

The 465.9875 splinter is a common Alarm channels [all data all the time]

Likely you will find another company licensed on 465.9625, 465.9375 and 465.9125
