Click on the "Database" section at the top right of the Radio Reference page. Then click on the map of Texas. Then click the section for "railroads" near the right of the page. There are lots of freqs used by the U.P. Railroad.

There should be a BNSF line not too far from Grosebeck. More over to Moody ,McGreggar, Crawford and those areas.

Union Pacific Ennis Sub

Groesbeck is located on the Union Pacific's Ennis Subdivision. The road channel in use is 160.320 Mhz. You can find all the Texas railroad radio information you need at http://www.FL9.com , and then click on Frequency Database at the top of the home page.

What does locomotive channel 1414 signify?

1414 means that the railroad radio is set to both transmit and receive on AAR (American Association of Railroads) channel 14: 160.360. Many railroad radios can select the transmit and receive frequencies separately.
