I am trying to figure out this statement. They are stating that CM3 Clarity allows for static and unlearness. Well the P25 system should not have any of that since it is digital. I can see the CM 4 Level having problems with it not letting the digital system in or out. We still have that problem here in Kalamazoo County. There are still dead spots within the county and still wondering if it will ever get fixed. If the old system worked why mess with it!!!! I just don't get Michigan sometimes
Lillywhite said that the tests were conducted at a CM3 level of clarity, which allows for some static and unclearness, and is below the nearly perfectly clear CM 4 level that Central Dispatch had paid for in its purchase of the new system. He pointed to areas of problems, including some in Fabius and northern Park Township, much of Flowerfield Township, Colon and Leonidas and Burr Oak areas, and spots around Sturgis. He said that at a level CM4 test, many more areas would be shown as problematic.
