I drove from Sacramento to Merced on Monday. I decided to stopover for a bit in Ceres to see if their trunked radio system was online. I parked at the public park adjacent to their police station, but could not get a signal on any of their licensed 800 MHz frequencies.
Can anyone else local to the area confirm the system is offline and that we can remove it from the database? I assume they've finished their move to the Stanislaus Regional 911 trunked radio system by now.
On a side note, Modesto Fire now runs the Ceres Fire Department as of this month.
