CF-18 Toughbook, serial or no serial

I keep coming across conflicting info on this thing. I found some reviews that list an RS232 serial port in the specs then fail to list it in the line up of ports per side of the device. Even the Panasonic site failed to mention a serial port but if I search for CF18 and serial port I find images of them with it.

Does anyone here have one? Does it have a 9 pin serial? Are they all equipped with one or not or are there different versions of the same pc?

I am contemplating one of these as a rugged all in on CPS/DOS based laptop so I can finally consolidate everything on one device but I am afraid it may not have a true RS232 9 pin port.

If the laptop is everything you want with the exception of the serial port, just get a serial to USB adapter. The older Toughbooks I've used all have serial ports. This might help too:

I can't. I need a true integrated serial for certain programs that must run from true dos.
