I heard one of the squads over at 33 today doing something - likely stocking the station and preparing it for service.
I don't know what the plans are for 33 other than a pump. A bush buggy would generally have to be run by another rig - they don't staff BBs with a dedicated crew, it has to be with an aerial or tanker usually.
The one option MIGHT be the tanker out of 29 moving down, but I really think it would be better served going up to 35 when that station gets built, because there are more in-city "non hydrant zones" like the wilderness-y area around COP and Stoney Trail etc. up that way. The areas without hydrants further south towards where 33 is are out of the city, which CFD is trying to get away from responding to.
EMS has ideas of putting at least one and maybe two ambulances in 33. I don't know how quick that'll happen, but we'll see.
