Or they haven't updated their unit tags yet maybe? Idk has anyone heard Rescue 35 be called over radio for sure? If not, then it's likely they're still labelled as 21, same as the boat tow and such. Also, does anyone know if Tender 34 is permenantly staying at 34, or will it move back to 35 when the reno's at 21 are done?

The Rescue and Boat Tow are still in 35 station. It must not have been worth switching all the radio stuff and numbering placards for the few months they'll be there.

That's interesting - if you read it, it reads like they're looking to lease it strictly for training purposes, so that the existing aerials can stay in service.

So are they looking to try out a new type of aerial, or planning on standardizing the aerial fleet and want a test drive before committing?

Don't have any idea. Like I said, the way I am reading that, either the truck itself will be for use in training, or it will be to make sure that there is adequate in-service aerials while training is in session. Put another way, it sounds like there aren't currently any spare aerials to use as trainers.

I don't know, my friend said he heard Engine 38 with a newer siren, and on the wiki E38 is listed as a 2010 truck last I checked, so one of them might be out at 38. Keep in mind, my friend said it.

Out front at the training center is the Decontamination unit 01 03 (still showing 30 station) with the regional decon trailer along with Engines 24 98 and 16 94.

E2498's still around? We rented that truck at Redwood as a spare last year when our pumper needed maintenance. And E1694, wow, that thing is old. IIRC it started out life in 29 station as the "Popemobile" because of its windowed high roof section.

Off topic: Redwood is currently building a new pumper with Spartan cab and chassis, from Fort Garry Fire Trucks in Winnipeg, delivery in January 2020; Canmore FD just put a new E-One engine in service Monday.

Thank you ahp309, I'm more wondering about what Engines, Rescues, etc is with the CAN Taskforce equipment in the station behind training; if anyone on this form has/had access to it

We need another SOW meeting in the building where the task force is parked so I can see what other rigs are in there!

There were 2 of the 2018 engines lined up by the training tower the other day. Too far way to get #s.

Hey does anyone know if there's a 2nd Engine or if it's a Spare engine parked inside 32 Station? I was there today and took these pictures, and only recently noticed that there was a 2008 engine and a 2010 engine [2010 one being the Engine 32]

Note the background, you can see both engines in those photos too, if anyone knows about this let me know please! Also for fun, a older picture I took awhile back:

Spare Engine 10, at Station 6 with Engine 6.

Station 22 is being renovated. The extra Engine in Station 32 is Engine 50 and one of the Medics from 22 is there as well

The special events/bush buggy is being staffed for the Flames playoff run, it is at station 2. High rise 5 is running a spare Engine at the moment

I see that CFD crews are still at the airport until June 1 and that Pro-tek Fire Services will be the company taking over
