any suggestions for freqs for Coast Guard Helos?
(not sure if this should be here, or the Fed page, or the aircraft page.)

*I'm not from Maryland, I'm from the Eastern Shore.*

I Like your quote"
Sometimes i wish the Eastern shore went ahead and seceded from
rest of Maryland like they wanted to do back in the 80's.
Bet our taxes would be much lower.LOL

Anyhow CG freqs is a mouthful of a question in this area.
CG Helos in Maryland are covered by CG Group Atlantic City and they also cover
Wash DC with homeland security missions.
I hear them from time to time transiting from A/C thru Dover DE area into Maryland with Dover AFB appch UHF freqs 257.875 and 282.3250 and even once in a while calling Dover CP on 349.400.
For local missions scan the usual VHF Marine channels 16,21 and 22.
Also any local ATC freqs in your area like Baltimore area or Pax River area and Potomac appch freqs.
Also have heard them calling homebase in A/C on 345.000.
A list of those UHF CG freqs is here on wiki.. http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/United_States_Coast_Guard

Also check out wiki for other Milcom links in this area..

Also listen for them talking to Huntress on 139.7 AM with the callsign 'Blackjack'
