I'm sixty miles up the Hudson from New York City and hear what sounds like a Dispatcher talking to tugs about jobs to do and where to go in the NY harbor area. Anybody able to tell me more about what this is?
In the Hudson River area do tug companies still use "House" Channels? Is there a list of them or have they been replaced by Cell phones?

There are commercial harbors and tugboats all the way up to Albany.
