Just wanted to drop a thank you to whoever submitted the new boatload of ESDA frequencies for Champaign County's various rural ESDAs. I've been trying to collect them for a while; but it seems you had better luck then I. Once again; thanks! :)

Yes yes. I am aware that is where they are located. If you look, you'll notice most of the little town ESDA frequencies were just added; and I was posting a thank you to whomever submitted them.

I second the thanks! While my old Spectrum CDROM I have contains most of these frequencies, it doesn't even begin to explain what they all are for. The webmaster(s) of this site should put a CDROM of their own together, it'd sell like crazy!

Many of the new freqs came from the CARMA Profile for Champaign County recently published. CARMA members, ScanIllinois members and the IL Editior for Radio Reference share a lot of info with each other and we have an understanding that each other can use the others info within reason.

Terry does a fantastic job with the Illinois section of RadioReference and many CARMA members have remarked how much better RR has been since he took over. Whenever I do a Profile for downstate areas I always refer to RR to verify info and fill in blanks.

If you are in the area please peruse the attached Profile for Champaign County and let me know if there are any corrections to be made.

Rich,

Thanks for the file on Champaign County. It's nice to see people working together on this stuff to make it as good as possible. Now if I can just figure out how to program my scanner to pick up the trunked system(s) in the area, I'll be good to go. (you would think with the public works only having 3 frequencies that I could figure it out, but noooooooo..) ;) Thanks again!
