I have seen new affiliations for TG 22716, all of the radios ID's I have seen are ones that been identified as being used by C-U Public Health. I have not heard them yet so I cannot confirm that this is now their TG, in the past they had been using EMA TG's when they were doing H1N1 vaccination drives.

Tom, you are correct. This is a new CUPHD talkgroup in the MDICE system.

Fire Tones

I've been looking for the tone out frequencies for CFD, UFD and Medic units, as well as the tone out frequencies for the local FD like Pesotum, Tolono, Savoy, etc. but I have been unable to find any of them.

Also, at one time there was a list of the new unit designations for CFD and UFD and where these units are located. Being an old timer I remember them from their old designations Engine 111, Truck 114, etc, I know they renumbered d/t MABAS or something like that, but I never understood the new numbering system, it used to be on the Champaign City site, but they have since redone that page and the info is no longer listed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Old Fire Unit Numbers

I attached a couple webpages I'd downloaded about the old rural fire unit ids and the press release Champaign put out about their old/new fire radio identifiers.

I'm still hoping someone has the tone info I've been looking for.
If anyone has the XT series of Uniden scanners, they have a fire tone out search which acts like a CTCSS decode. You'd have to sit patiently and wait for the departments to be paged out, take notes on what you hear, and then test them to make sure the search result was accurate.

Anyone have a good listing of specific identified Radio ID's (RIDs) for MDICE?

Primarily looking for fire, but will take anything anyone can provide.

PM me. Thanks

Problem programming Pro-96

I am feeling absolutely stupid, trying to reprogram my Pro-96, which I had working perfectly. I've verified that I've correctly downloaded the system frequencies and talk groups. I've rebanded using the tables built into ARC96 and Win96. But, no dice for MDICE. Wondering if I can possibly beg someone for their ARC96 file or Win96 file, or advice about setting the thing that I have forgotten to correctly set.

Thanks!

Patrol 3

Has anyone else noticed activity on Patrol 3 (TG 21502)?

Hearing mentions of campus residence halls. Could it be student patrol officers? They aren't using the student patrol radio identifiers though. I don't have RID capabilities to log who is transmitting/affiliating with that TG.
