• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

If you can receive the LANL trunk, you can now monitor Santa Fé National Forest (172.3) on 15-152. Only God and the DOE know why they keep changing it around.

This TG has been so busy you will burn through some batteries.

Changed Talkgroup

Hi Ethan,

Thanks for keeping us up to date on the changed talk groups for Santa Fe Dispatch. Any ideas why they keep changing? Is it grouped in any logical fashion? Thanks for all your hard work.

If change is good...LANL is great!

Santa Fé National Forest 172.3 patch can now be heard on 03-046 as of Thu. PM

This is the TG it had been most of the Spring. I do suggest you keep 15-151, 15-152, and 15-153 in the the scanner as well for I have heard all of these used for 172.3 patch
