I heard recently that several of the county's EMA frequencies will be changing. The main one I remember is "North Net" (155.550 RX) which is used by all of the different county agencies to talk amongst themselves. Supposedly it will be going to narrowband, and it will be changing frequencies entirely. I think that some of the others will be changing as well.

So, if you listen to Rutherford Co. a lot, you may have to do some reprogramming. I'll try to keep an eye on what's going on, and I'll post the changes to the database (and probably on here) when they occur.

From what I've heard, the changeover to 'narrowband' will happen when existing licenses are up for renewal. North Net happens to be the first one, because it's license is being renewed. RC Firecom, 158.745 MHz, won't be up for another few years.
