City Fire New Radio Operations Effective June 1st 2017
DISPATCHING
The City will now be dispatched on County Fire Dispatch by NEW station names ( See below ). Stations 2, 3, 4, and 5 will have new sounding tones and there will be a single City All Tone for any 3 or more station responses by the city.
OLD New
Station 1 – City Main
Station 2 – Southside
Station 3 – Northside
Station 4 – Westgate
Station 5 – Hillcrest
RESPONDING
The City will be operating on its new channel City Fire Ops ( frequencies below ) and remaining on it for any initial responses so when you come from the county you will still need to switch over to the City channel like before. The City will be operating on the SIMPLEX version of City Fire Ops when on WT at a major incident like the county has been using for the Tac channels. This will only change if you are responding to the city on a secondary call, at that time one of the county Tac channels
