changing banks on a 2052 ?

I've had a 2052 in storage for about 6 months. It has been programmed with both Mot & EDACS and conventional systems and worked fine. MY problem now is how do I switch a set of banks? The radio now scans banks 11 - 20 and I can't get it to SHIFT
to banks 1 - 10 I have read the manual inside and out and have changed sets of banks originally but am stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

Press the "Trunk" button, then the bank number, shift #.

Hit the SHIFT button again. Did the word SHIFT disappear ?

If it has , then enter the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 keys to activate banks 1 through 10 inclusive.

If the banks are activated they will show something like this

1 2 etc....
