Changing colors on a SDS200 display

Can you change the "Channel Name" to show different colors like the alert display? Example: fire-red, police-blue

Configuring the display is already complex, and you can display the service type.

But you can't control the color... Fixed to what you set it to...

Making the color conditional on the Service Type would add an extra layer of complexity to the already complex screen configuration system, and would increase the load on the CPU for refreshing the screen display. It's unlikely to happen.

Mine is attached. Change txt to xml. Works with either SDS model.

I just picked up my 200 and have discovered that some fields don't seem to play nice with the color settings. For example I have REC and GPS side-by-side on the bottom row; REC is set to Black text on Red background, and GPS is set to Black text on Orange background. REC looks fine, but all I see for the GPS indicator is an orange rectangle (no text).

Same for my three avoid indicators - I made them the reverse of my sys/dept/channel colors (so if system was yellow text on black BG, sys avoid is black text on yellow BG) and all I get is the reverse-colored rectangles, no text.

I suspect it's all learning curve related...

SDS 200 ... anyone have an issue with review of recordings, the UID does not match the transmission .. appears it’s like behind one transmission .
Example ... dispatcher talks but ID is last unit to talk , then the unit talks but ID is the dispatcher.
It only happens on recordings, live is fine.
????
