Changing the default delay time

Is there a way to change the default delay time from 2 seconds to another value, say, 5 seconds so that when I create favorite lists, the time is already there. Right now, I have to go back to each group and manually change them, which if you have a large database, can be very time consuming!

I'd also like to be able to set the default for the Full Database to something other than 2, so I can hear both sides of the conversation before it starts scanning again!

I set all mine to 3 seconds. Copy/Paste the time which makes it faster and easier. I don't think there is a way to change the default.

Sentinel does not have a tool to change default delay values for Favorites Lists, so Copy and Paste is the only practical method. Sentinel does not have a means for editing the full database, so the default is what it is.

ARC536 by Butel does have a tool to change channel delay times as data is imported from RR to build Favorites Lists. There is another tool to do batch editing for the full database including channel delay times. However, when the database is updated, then the procedure has to be repeated.

I haven't delved into ProScan enough to know if it has similar capabilities.

ProScan only edits Favorite Lists, not the Main Database.

But it has a search and replace function so you can change Delay or any other setting you choose in all of your Favorite Lists with a few mouse clicks.

I just did it with the Bulk Channel Edit function in Arc536. Works well.
