Hey guys,

Recently channel 2 has been staffing their traffic chopper with UHP Troopers in the morning.

Has anybody copied any traffic from the chopper on the UHP TGs?

I would suspect they would just use their normal callsigns and not a special one. However Channel 5 has a Statewide call issued (60A*) and use to use it all the time. But they were not UHP guys either.

Sweeps

Its just sweeps, you'll see no UHP trooper up there after sweeps is over! 2s pilot will just monitor traffic as always over scanners, and have the trooper talk back to the station to the anchors.

Yeah its qlajlu getting on my case again, just kidding!

What part are you whating on?

Sweeps? This best defines sweeps in TV
I really hesitated posting and so that is why there was just one word. I had hoped that wouldn't rankle you. I just did not comprehend your post because you were using a jargon that I'm not familiar with. "Sweeps" to me has meant sweepstakes, which I guess this really is, but I did not know the news industry tried to promote stuff this way.

All new to me.

Thanks. :)
