For some reason no rechargeable batteries will charge in my home patrol. The ac adapter powers the radio fine. I have the battery time set for the 2400 batteries showing 14.6 hrs. What am I doing wrong? This has happened with two sets of batteries.

Have you verified that the power supply is supplying voltage to the radio? Has it ever worked?
