Happy to help any and all whenever possible.

My understanding (and based on my visit to Charleston a few weeks ago) is that Site 101 (the Charleston Simulcast) is the only site that's operational with voice right now. It is not using rebanded frequencies yet, and if fact won't use any rebanded frequencies because of none of them are 866-868. The PRO-96 should work just fine just programming 858.9375 with standard bandplans.

I know you're up near Georgetown, and if you're hoping to receive the McClellanville site, it is not operational yet.

I am picking up somethings on the McClellanville site but it is not showing the talk groups. I am in mot. mode. What mode do I need to be in. Oh and it is the Mt Pleasent site that is not up yet. Oh all so I am using a reband table that Wane in news had on here. So I do not need to use the reband table?

I stand corrected on McClellanville being operational. Good to know.

What control channel frequency are you monitoring? Is it 853.950? It should be programmed in MOT mode. Go to that channel in Manual mode and it sould say 96:1D9 and give you a decoding percentage. And it'll also tell you T103, which is the tower site number. That'll confirm you're hearing the McClellanville site.

I've never tried to monitor a rebanded 800MHz Motorola system, so perhaps someone who has can jump in and offer any necessary correction. But the way I read it, if the system is a P25 system, and 1D9 is a P25 system, then the custom bandplan/tables are not necessary. That's only for rebanded 800MHz Motorola systems using the 3600bps control channel format.

Sys ID is 1D9
WACN is BEE00
Tower is 103

Those are three different pieces of information about the site that are displayed when monitoring a P25 system.

You're definitely on the correct system. Set the bank to MOT mode and set the bank to Open, and you should hear some traffic, though probably not all traffic that's carried on the Simulcast system.
