I went to Charleston today... and was wondering of the Police have changed something?

I programmed up the 996, with the info on radio reference...

I put in:
32768 - West Ashley Dispatch
32784 - Channel 2
32864 - Penninsula Dispatch

The only thing I heard, was NOAA weather radio test on 32768 ??

No Police Comms at all.

I changed the system from ID Scan to ID Search, and all I was hearing was Public Works stuff.

I had it setup in CC Scan

Freqs:
855.9625
858.9625
859.7625
860.7625

Have they changed ?

Any info is appreciated on Charleston.

The P25 system was hopping... sounded good on the 996.

Are you sure you didn't have them programmed in as P25 instead of analog?
Or if the talk group ID's were entered properly?
Not trying to insult your intelligence but I leave my scanner with them running all day/night and it never has given me a problem. You've probably already left Charleston by now but I hope this helped!!

I also monitor this system using those same frequencies. I have no problems either. Just double check and make sure you have the system programmed correctly. If you program only the control channels make sure you have selected that in the settings for the system.

Hey all, Dave here in Summerville. I had all of these plus many others programmed into my Pro2096 and heard very little to nothing at all. It was professionally programmed but I didn't pick up much of anything. I had it reprogrammed but would be willing to pay someone to walk me through it or show me how to get it right. I don't know if I am just not getting it or if something is messed up with my radio. Any help is appreciated..Thanks, Dave
