Charlestown Police Frequency Request

Does anyone have the primary dispatch frequency for the Charlestown, RI police department? Also, does anyone have the same for the Westerly PD as well?

Charlestown and Westerly PD's

Both PD's are on the RISCON South Zone, This is a P25 system. The control frequencies are;

867.9250 Alt. Control Ch/Voice
868.1750 Alt. Control Ch/Voice
868.4125 Alt. Control Ch/Voice
868.8750 Primary Control Ch

and the talkgroups are;

1426 for Charlestown PD and 1050 for Westerly PD. Neither one is encrypted and can be picked up on any 9600 baud P25 scanner (GRE 500, GRE 600, Pro 107, Pro 197).

Are you sure about Charlestown PD being on TGID1426? That maybe their assigned talk group but I have yet to here them on it. I dont believe that they are full time on the network yet and maybe part time if at all. I would continue to monitor 154.6500 until confirmed otherwise.

I can't say for sure if Charlestown is using the talk group full time. I pulled the information from the wiki. I can however state Westerly is on full time. Unfortunately I don't get much of a chance to check for new tgp's as the 197 is dedicated to streaming the PD's on Aquidneck Island.

I may start limiting the PD feed to certain times and days since it has quieted down in Newport now that the tourists have gone home. This way I can once again play with the 197 and get a chance to update my own files and maybe even add some confirmed tgp's to the wiki.

I have them 5 by 5 on 154.650 pl118.8 here in eastern CT as of a few days ago. I'll stay tuned & keep you posted.
