Possible either way. I know the talk groups match up. Someone else is checking out the system id with their radio when they are out tonight.

On the page for this system it lists the system ID as 582B. UniTrunker shows this system as 582A. Not sure if this is the reason why the download doesn't work or not. (Yes I have Premium). Downloads work for other system IDs For example 593B Sarasota.

For reference, Charlotte County's page is: Charlotte County Public Services Trunking System, Charlotte County, Florida - Scanner Frequencies

Any help to get the data to download would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Alan

I use a Motorola APX 7000 to passively scan systems, I do not affiliate or interfere with any system, the 582B works, what I did have to do is set the system to the Legacy Transit System mod under Type II systems. Lee County, which is similar to this system does not use the Legacy Transit System mode to work, but I could not receive Charlotte County until I enabled this mode. Not sure how to set that mode for a scanner. Also the Talkgroups for HEX and Decimal do not correspond with each other, I had to use the listed HEX value to be able to receive, the Decimal values given did not work for me.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure if I can do that with UniTrunker. Must be just this system (in my area) since the rest seem to work fine. Will research that after I fix this issue with a Word form that a MS update gave me. :-\

Thanks again for the replies.

Well, I don't know if the RRDB is wrong but honestly it wasn't that many talk groups so I just edited UniTrunker's XML to put the tag/labels in there. I really don't care if the groups are not color coded. Maybe when I have a few hours to kill I'll work on that.

I do appreciate that info. I didn't see where in UniTrunker I could change that.
