Wondering if we had any/many D-Star Users from the Charlotte system on here? I've used it a couple times in Charlotte and through the gateway From Columbia, SC several times as well.

Which band are you running when you are up here? They have the VHF repeater running but that likelt won't be on the gateway anytime soon because of it's location (from what I understand from the e-mails they send out).

I'm only a couple of miles frm the 440 machine but just do not have $300 (minimum) to throw at a radio that I would rarely use.

I use the UHF, I don't have the extra money to buy a ID-1 for the 1.2Ghz repeater. ;-)

If you happen to have a dualband rig, try the VHF next time :D

Now on the air from the old Channel 36 transmitter site (Hood Road,
northeast Charlotte).
