Charlotte Hamfest March 13-14, 2010

I am not sure why this hasn't been posted already, so here goes.

This weekend, March 13-14, 2010, the Mecklenburg Amateur Radio Society is hosting the 2010 Charlotte Hamfest at the Cabarrus Arena in Concord.

I will be there on saturday. The new location is a bit farther away, but is a lot better as far as traffic and parking.

I went.

I was not impressed. I stayed 30 minutes and left.

I think the one in Dallas is way better Better known as Shelby

The fest was mostly computers, test equipment, jewlery, and cosmetics

There was one good vendor that had some interesting stuff, but he was asking way to much for it.

Ham Radio Outlet was a good new equipment vendor, the only problem is they didn't have many cataolgs to give out. Got a nice hat though.

Hamfest

I went and I am going back today to help a friend that's set up there so more,it was OK. Some vendors put out some more stuff later in the day. I passed My Tech !!!!!!!
