Just curious about some acronyms I hear periodically while listening to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police radio. Anyone know the meaning of: “Clear me MI” and/or “Clear me UL”?

Hmmmmmm...now I have to listen closer to get full context!

Wondering if "MI" might actually be "NI", which could be 'not involved', 'no incident', etc., as in no action taken.

"UL" should be unable (to) locate.

MI is Miscellaneous Information. This is when they just add a short narrative to the call on the event listing. This is opposed to a full blown report. Lands818 is correct about UL.

Very helpful....it is often hard to get the context due to interruptions in the sequence of the radio conversation. I have also heard "Clear me AU." I have assumed that one is Assisting Unit, but not sure about that one either. Thanks!

I would assume this would mean clear me and all units that were on the call with them
