Does anyone know what frequency the Charlotte NC pd uses as a regional pursuit channel?

From what I can gather is Regional Pursuit is also programmed in the highway patrols radios as well.

Regional Pursuit also took the place of the old UHF 453.700 Mhz. channel.

I personally never have listened to the talkgroup, but I know it is out there.

I'm not sure about NCSHP on Regional Pursuit, but nearby counties on UASI definitely are.

When SHP is utilizing Regional Persuit, there is an intermittent beep on their dispatch talkgroup. I'm only guessing it's because their dispatch TG is patched with the Regional Persuit TG which is on another system. Does anyone know if that's the real reason and if the Troopers and other agencies involved can hear the beep as well?

If it is anything like what we do here it is called a "channel marker" and the dispatcher enables it via the console to let folks know that something is going on and that there should only be priority radio traffic only.

Same thing for the law talkgroups for Gaston County.

Their dispatchers or telecommunicators call it holding the channel.

Then the talkgroup will continue to beep till it is released.

Sometimes it drives me crazy then I will delete the talkgroup from scan and check back later to add it back to scan.
