Scott . wow you guys have some great options for scanning here in this area....been checking it out this weekend with the file you sent.....winded up making a totally seperate one for the Gang/Vice and listening to that.......very , very , interesting stuff. They sure have a lot going on don't they?

I was just there for the weekend.....man good scanning though.....check it out , the trip back to Horry County (South Carolina) , the scanner was DEAD on a Saturday Night ...unreal....did hear one wreck on 74 in Robeson County , so from Union County , Scotland , etc. into Columbus County - NOTHING.....I mean for State Patrol , even crossing over 95 , nothing....oops yes one alert for a vehicle on 95....

The last two times I drove from Charlotte to Horry, I took I-77 to columbia, then I-20 across to florance. Sure it's longer, but still faster. My last trip had an average speed (GPS measured) from little river to the SC line at Charlotte of 83+

That drive around lumberton is the worst in this state. bad drivers, two lane road, boring as heck.

BAD..........TERRIBLE.....it's crazy.....and Horry County , I've never seen anything like it.... I hear an average of 5-6 wrecks a day....some bad some not....no matter WHERE you go speed limit is ignored to the tune of 15 over......so when somebody is actually obeying the law , it impedes traffic......get this , lady get's pulled on 31 the other day ( I heard the officer talking on talkaround so I know this is fact) she was running 50 mph , speed limit was 60 on that stretch -------gives her a ticket for impeding traffic. I went down the same road as that was happening , NOBODY was running under 75 mph.

AAA baseball (don't they change tires )
nascar speedway? You mean the one in Concord (which is not in mucklenburg county).

Sure you need us, someone has to pay for all your clogged roads. I'm just glad I'm not paying for your sports complexes :lol: I know several people who have moved out of muck for such reasons.

Or...live across the border in Union County and "enjoy" all the activities without all the cost.

Having done alot of relocation for business and lived here the last 4 years; I actually find it pretty disheartening how little there is to do here other than sit back and listen to the increasing murder rate year after year. I have single employees that REALLY can't find a thing to do.
Obviously, all the BOA and Wachovia executives like a city where the streets roll up at 6 p.m.!!
This coming from a 43 year old man with a wife and kid!!!
