I'll be in the Charlotte area this summer for a couple of days .. will the Control Channel only method work for this system using the Uniden 296 ?
If so .. which CC and which plan ?

Any info is appreciated.

I can't speak for the 296 but it works great w/ my pro-96. The main (site001) system is your best bet. I live north on town and usually monitor the North system (site002, which has been taken off the RR site). Supposedly the north site will be moved and changed use the same group of frequencies as the main system. Other than that the RR list is very accurate, as far as I know. I monitor it daily.
