chase over, gun shots, driver in custody st louis cty, on i70 past airport. one gun shot victim taken to st jo west, , shot in should and chest. other victims to warrenton. Semi trucks involved to c4 west, going to bays for evidence recovery. Apparently bullets in trailer. Warrenton closing 189 to 190 to one lane east bound, looking for shell casings.

What did they do to get all that attention ??

there was a shooting on I-70 out west by Warrenton. 3 out of 4 people hit. Several 18 wheel trailers hit, hence they went to the enclosed bays at the weight scales for evidence extraction. They were reducing I70 ti 1 lane while they looked for shell casings, meaning they were using an automatic of some sort, throwing empties all over the place. Why the shooting, I don't know. The shooter, drive a white dodge charger, took off east at speeds to 150+, said the state. He came down I70 so fast that the cities along I70 could not get in place fast enough. City cars and state cars gave up the chase several times. State said spike strips were out but nothing was said about hitting any strips. They did say the car crashed, wrecked, left the road, etc. Finally he was stopped, another shooting, then captured in st louis by the airport. One or two were in the car. Frankly there was so much going on, I stayed on one frequency and probably missed some traffic. A real reason that multiple scanners would have been nice.
