Does any one know the frequency for the Chatham Kent police's FutureCom vehicle repeaters?

If its futurecom it will be a DVRS and will repeat in encryption mode. The upside is that if you have a CC scanner you should have no trouble finding the freq if your near a cruiser with the DVRS turned on.

Chatham Kent is clear ProVoice. Why would you think all DVRS comms are encrypted?

Futurecomm makes analog mobile repeaters as well. A system as old as Chatham-Kent's would most likely use analog units.

I stand corrected.

The futurecom installs I have seen are all on encrypted p25. That is why that supplier was chosen. I should have visited the futurcom site and read through the various supported modes etc.

Every OPP, MOH, MTO and MNR vehicle has an analog Futurecom in it. Figured you'd know that?
