If its futurecom it will be a DVRS and will repeat in encryption mode. The upside is that if you have a CC scanner you should have no trouble finding the freq if your near a cruiser with the DVRS turned on.

Futurecomm makes analog mobile repeaters as well. A system as old as Chatham-Kent's would most likely use analog units.

I stand corrected.

The futurecom installs I have seen are all on encrypted p25. That is why that supplier was chosen. I should have visited the futurcom site and read through the various supported modes etc.
