I'm trying to figure out which frequencies are used by which agency. I hear units using a new freqency of 460.3125R PL 114.8. I believe it is Chatham Township PD. I had there old frequency as 156.150R PL 114.8. I hear fire units on it now, but also heard a PD unit being dispatched to a burglary, so now I'm confused. Here is what I have:

Chatham Boro PD 155.445R PL 114.8...units in 30 series ?

Chatham Twp PD 156.150R PL 114.8..."882" Base, units in 40 series ?

Chatham Twp/Boro Fire 154.310 PL 179.9
Green Village Fire 700 units ??
Long Hill Fire 800 units ??
Harding 500 units ??

Harding Twp PD (Dispatched by Chatham Twp PD) ??? units

Any help appreciated identifying who uses what, what EMS uses, etc. I thought I heard an EMS units on the Boro PD frequency as well.

Well I confirmed the Chatham Boro PD frequency today. They were working an armed suicidal barricaded subject with Florham Park, Livingston and Madison PD's. Didn't get the outcome because they were still working it when I left work.

The UHF frequency is the one for Chatham Twp. PD. I don't know if Harding switch to this
new frequency or not. I don't live in that area.

EJM...I think you may be right after listening a little today. I think Chatham Twp switched but Harding is still using VHF.

Any other listeners ?

I was listening to 156.15 last nite at home (Hopatcong) and all I could hear was static. If I
get a chance, I'll listen again.

Look for Harding Twp PD to start migrating from the VHF frequuncy to the county trunked system tomorrow, April 28. The phone lines have been switched over and they will start testing this week.

Chatham Twp. has been on UHF 460.3125 PL 114.8) for 5-6 years. Chatham Boro is on VHF (155.445 PL 114.8).

Chatham Emer. Sq. uses the harding VHF 156.150 PL 114.8) when responding to Chatham Twp. and the boro PD channel when responding to same.

Whoever submitted that is incorrect. If I remember correctly the FCC database listed it too as Chatham. But only East Hanover uses the channel for ops. They (EH) are dispatched on 158.94 PL 127.3.

Ok, however I did hear brief EMS activity on 154.4375 yesterday afternoon. A medic unit mentioned responding to St. Barnabas Hospital. You mentioned in your previous post that it is definitely NOT Chatham and that E. Hanover uses 158.940. Therefore, who am I hearing on 154.4375?

East Hanover! Their unit id's are in the 800 range and go as high as 851. I said East Hanover dispatches on 158.94 and then use 154.4375 to sign on.
