Ok everyone it looks like the boys from Motorola have been busy. The new smart zone on the Chattanooga trunk system is in service on the air. The communications link has been established with the controller for the old simulcast zone. The old xxx.7125 frequencies that where programmed into the radios when the site was brought online a few weeks ago have been changed to the licensed frequencies. As far as I can tell no radios can affiliate with the new zone as of yet except the radio shop guys. I have heard both analog and digital voice on the site and it sounds good.
