Are their any plans for Chattanooga/Hamilton County TACN TGs to go to the big “E”?

I’m not upgrading my scanners if so.
I would really appreciate any info on this.

I haven't heard of any encryption being used or in the works.

None of the 3 folks I know there have said any encryption is in the works, and if they were to put any in it would be Tactical type stuff, not main dispatches. After the next election cycle is over if anyone new is put in charge of communications that could change, but right now its not changing. Your more likely to see the big T before E at this juncture lol.
