Cheapest p2 scanner to handle simulcast

Hello, I’m trying to find a scanner to handle simulcast. I live in Lynchburg Va. I have a bcd325p2 but the sound breaks up. I have been told it’s a simulcast issue.
What are the cheapest scanners that will handle this area?

You can also try using a "directional" yagi antenna and aiming it towards the site you need.

This is the right answer. The cheapest price I have seen for either is at Walmart, but I don't know if I would buy one there. Other than a $550 SDS200 at Walmart, they are the same price everywhere else.

If you look in the CLASSIFIEDS section there is a loaded SDS100 with lots of add on options. The price is the scanner plus NXDN and DMR and the add ons are a freebie.

"Good simulcast reception" and "cheapest" area basically opposite ends of the price spectrum.
