The local Rat Shack outlet is closing....meaning the already cheap stuff is even cheaper. I picked up one of these for $5. It's slightly damaged, but can be a very easy fix.

I plan to put it up at my comm station at the airport for monitoring 2m and VHF Am. Think it'll work? No $$$ for a rotator yet.

You will want to rotate it 90 degrees since 2 meters and airband are vertically polarized. Freq-wise it is a little far off from 2 meters so it may not be great.
