Maybe it's just me but I have a question. What is an Explorer/Cadet doing with Emergencey lights and radios? When I was a Police Explorer, we could not even drive the cars to get a car wash. Also now with the recent rash of police impersonators...this raises a red flag or two..but that's just me.

I completely agree the "boot" was never allowed to have any of this stuff when I was a young volunteer fire fighter.

By saying allowed, you mean they could not own them as long as they don't use them? Wow...Times have changed

I would have to say you should keep that stuff at home and not bring it to the meeting...
