Not sure what "Cherry Hill Maryland" that you are inquiring about. There is a neighborhood in Baltimore that is mostly public housing, so I doubt that is the place - probably not the area to take a vacation. There is a Cherry Hill area near College Park that has a campground - maybe that is what you are referring to? If it is, the LEO and fire services would be using the Prince Georges County TRS:

The neighboring county also has a TRS:

Both are large jurisdictions with > 1M inhabitants, so usually very busy.

I seriously hope you're not going to Cherry Hill neighborhood in Baltimore. It was the murder capital of the area for a long time, and might still be. As Maus92 said, mostly public housing and extremely dangerous.

Cherry Hill Campground is right at the I-495/I-95 interchange in PG County. Don't expect quiet and yes, those two TRS's are what you'll need. You can also listen to Washington, DC's TRS and possibly Howard County, MD from there too. Looks like the park has it's own frequencies, too:

Have fun!

If you try to monitor DC, be aware that all LE are encrypted. Some talkgroups on Montgomery and PG are also encrypted, but most are in the clear. At the campground, you would want to monitor College Park and Beltsville talkgroups for LE. Interestingly, PG uses "directional" antenna broadcasting, so what you hear "loud & clear" at the campground, will totally disappear about 1 mile west of that location (just after crossing into Montgomery Co -District 3 Silver Spring T/G). Also MD State Police use talkgroups on PG system. They are responsible for I-495. Enjoy your stay.

Lol, that's the Cherry Hill I thought about first too.
You have what you need for Police Fire & EMS
This region has a lot of other things to monitor as well. Check out the Joint National Capital Region system, there are a couple of sits that you should be able to pick up from the college park area.

You will be amazed at the amount of radio traffic both on PG and Montgomery System plus do not forget the MD 1st system as well. Also you are near the Maryland State Police Collage Park Barracks and thy are on the PG County system as well. One thing you will also hear is State Highway D3/Chart service trucks helping motorist that are broken down example 9305 to TOC aka Traffic Operation Center in Jessup MD. Chart trucks do run all red plus yellow when responding code to a call. They have a red/white led on their dash and 2 red led on their front bumper.
