Hey, I've been having an annoying problem while listening to the Chester County trunked system. When I listen to it I hear almost constant clicking. Kind of like someone keeps keying up their radio. I makes it hard to listen to. Is this because I have to scan it conventionally? I have a Pro-2052 and a RS 800mhz antenna is that makes a difference. Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

Do you have priority scan enabled? Or signal stalker? Both of these will cause momentary drop outs or clicks as you described them.

It is also possible that since you are scanning a trunked system in conventional mode you are hitting one the control channels or a data channel. May I ask why you are scanning in conventional mode when the Pro-2052 has dual trunking capability?

If memory serves, Chester uses a LTR system that cannot be tracked, but can be listened to in conventional mode 73 Mike

Thats correct, Chester Co. uses the LTR Multi-net system that can only be picked up conventionally. Thank you for the advice.
