Chester County LE now dark

Chester County SD and Chester PD now encrypted. Dispatch for both is still listed as being in the clear, though I am not hearing anything from them. EMS/Fire dispatch, as well as Ops channels, are still in the clear.

It’s already in there. I hadn’t heard them, so I checked RR; that’s how I found out.

So there are some changes happening on the Chester County PA P25 happening. I know PD is going encrypted and they are also getting new radios. Currently, I am hearing PD on patch talk groups; it is in the clear at the moment. I have not heard what the official cut date for encryption is. Fire is scheduled for 2027 to get new radios. It is not expected that they will go encrypted except possibly the EMS to Hospital talk groups.

So I'm.going that way see family I'm going. Being my sds scanner is fire and EMS disoatch is anything being heard and are they pain going staying uncrypted
