Must be missing something, Have had great reception in Chester Springs then goes silent for an hour or so.

Picking up Fire VHF but nothing on P25.

Using:
RFSS Site Name Freqs
1 (1) 002 (2) West 769.53125c 771.19375a 771.56875a 771.89375a 773.49375a 773.90625a
10 (A) 010 (A) East Central 851.06250c 851.61250a 851.86250a 853.11250a 856.23750a 860.23750a 860.48750a

Could there be another frequency that is not listed in the RR Db?

Nope. Read back through the thread. This is typical of the issues many people are having.

Not having that issue here at all. Have you tried either using West or East frequencies versus scanning both?

Radio Testing Talk Groups

Have seen many unidentified TG's in use over the past week.
Today was another new one..
65120 Radio Testing

In addition to the following...
65104 Radio Testing
65108 Radio Testing
65109 Radio Testing
65113 Radio Testing
65116 Radio Testing
65117 Radio Testing

Anybody else picking these up?
They seem to be used for testing out the new radios with different Fire Companies.

Thanks

I've made an effort to create a wiki page for unidentified talkgroups on this system.
Chester County Emergency Services P25 - The RadioReference Wiki
If someone with more wiki experience could clean it up; That would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Good job and Thanks! The primary page for the TRS has been updated, and the unknown talkgroup list moved to a separate page,
which is Chester County Emergency Services P25 Unknown Talkgroups.

Thanks again for contributing to the Wiki.

Hope this helps,

More radio testing this evening on 2 new unknown TG's.

64201 Radio Testing
64202 Radio Testing

"Radio Check 1-2" repeated numerous times.
Sounded like some encryption was tested as well.
RID's 9980023 & 1150060 were used.

I put all the west fire on one bank but I seem to miss a lot of dispatches. I get some but totally miss some. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? Using sential and a 536

Same here. I have three banks set up. One with East, One with West and one with both. Seem to be getting a lot of traffic, but also feel I am missing some. I do notice much more traffic on department channels. Feels like they are getting used to using them more.

I expect the next couple of days to be very busy with the weather, so we will see what happens.

Yeah it sucks I hear the siren go off here in Kennett but the scanner says nothing then a few minutes later I hear the responses from the units headed to the call but I missed the initial call I have to end up running my Pro2006 still

FYI,

The Initial Dispatches are still on 160.1850 Conventional. Not on the P25 System.

I have not observed that. Fire Dispatch has just been on 160.1850. As far as I can tell they are not duplicated on the P25, Just the responses are on both (Conventional/P25).

That's how Lanco is as well with 33.90

My 536 isn't picking it up. Does it go county wide I'm down by Kennett maybe I'm to far out of tower reach for it though I'm rocking a dicone 50 ft up
