Yes, I know, but how would you feel if you spent time putting it all together and then have someone completely change it?

It happens regularly, someone begins the basis for a wiki and others contribute.
Some of us are more familiar with Wiki and can make enhancements to the templates, tables etc to bring even more enhancement.
If you look at the History, you should be able to find the Creator, PM his/her if it is a concern
