Flight For Life (FFL) runs two birds:

One from Froedert in Milwaukee and one from Centegra-Northern Illinois in McHenry. The operation is based out of Froedert, with the satellite site in McHenry. Children's Hospital and Froedert are sponsors for both birds, with Centerga sponsoring the McHenry operation. Our bird here in Milwaukee was the first, and is a bit larger than the McHenry bird.

The Wisconsin freq's are:

463.15000 (136.5) Flight For Life - Air Ambulance FM
129.47500 Flight For Life - Air Ambulance AM
129.27500 Flight For Life/News Choppers Coord AM

...plus a host of mutual aid channels depending on where they are flying. Our bird routinely flys into Illinois, and vise versa...both have multiple frequency agile radios on VHF, UHF and 800 MHz. They can come up on almost any channel in either state's area of operation.

It is a first-rate operation, and I've dealt with both birds/crews at least once. One of the Milwaukee pilots is a bit of a hot dog and flys like it's a warzone...rather neat to watch  8)
