Chicago subway Coms

Good Evening, how are Radio Com's are conducted in the subway tunnels? Do they have repeater 's at intervals along the tunnels? Please let me know thank you, and happy holidays.

They use leaky coax in the tunnels connected to obove ground receivers and transmitters thats linked to the repeaters!
