Chief McCoy loses his battle.

At approxamately 2130 hrs tonight Chief Harold McCoy of the Tulsa Fire Department lost his life to cancer. Chief McCoy was a great man and will be sorely missed. He was an excellent instructor, and taught several classes I have taken (most noteably ICS) He brought TFD into the NIMS generation with incident management, and was a very important aspect of Tulsa Fire Departments fire operations. I ask that you all keep his family and the TFD in your thoughts and prayers.

I had Harold for my Instructor I class several years ago. He was a very talented and gifted individual and from what I know brought TFD and all personnel he worked with a long way in improving the way they did business. He will be sadly missed.
