Chillicothe Police is now dispatched by the Peoria Co. Sheriff Dept on TG-6701 . Looking in Radio Reference, at the conventional Frequency of 155.67, they mention a simulcast of P25 - TG-413. that TG is NOT listed in STARCOM 21. I am curious where TG-413 is listed.

At one time, Chillicothe Police & Chillicothe Fire, each had a separate ETSB TG and shared a dispatcher located at Chillicothe Police Dept. They shut down the Chillicothe Dispatch Center, and was then Dispatched by Peoria County Dispatch Center on the Sheriff's Channel. I am going to guess the TG-413 is the "OLD" ETSB TG. I am hoping the 413 TG is still accessible and being used by Chillicothe Police as a car to car frequency. Can any one help? thank you for your time

So, a couple follow up questions and one statement. First, yes, 413 would've been from the old ETSB system. That system is not accessible anymore since it was merged into STARCOM. So going by the letter of what you were asking, no, it wouldn't be accessible.

If you're asking whether there's an equivalent on STARCOM, then good question - I'd like to know that too. If you're asking whether that frequency is still accessible as car to car, then another good question. I only get to Peoria every couple months or so, so I probably can't be much help there. Do you hear anything on VHF, and if so does it have the digital-y sound like it's being patched to analog from STARCOM? If so then there has to be an unreported talkgroup that it is originating from and it would just be a matter of figuring out which one it is.

Kraziebill: I dont recognize the TG 6641, 6642, 6643, but thank you for your input. You know when I get done here I am going to put them in one of the scanners and see what I can hear. If I hear anything I will be sure to give you a heads up. I am curious to what you heard on them and how long they have been using them. i was sorry to see Chillicothe Police having to share a TG with the County Sheriff. Now I have to listen to all the county chatter so not to miss a Chillicothe call. Oh well, at least the Chillicothe Fire Department still has a dedicated TG. hope it stays that way. Thank again for the input. appreciate it.

6641-6643 are the TGs they were assigned when they switched from the Harris system to SC. 6641 being their dispatch and the other 2 for events/car-car, etc. Since they combined with Sherriff, I'm sure these are hardly used.

If you watch very carefully, you will see activity once in a great while on one of the three Chillicothe PD talkgroups; however, you won't be able to listen to it.
