Chippewa Falls PD and Chippewa County SD

seeing as both use a common dispatch center (even same dispatch staff)
what prompted Chippewa Falls to go to P25 on their dispatch channel
I had been avoiding worrying about it until this week
I slapped together a single channel P25 receiver and it works fine
Is there something I am missing? 155.745 is the only P25 channel listed in the database

A common dispatch center is only a dispatch center. The agency using the repeaters will choose to upgrade or change their systems as they wish. There are several dispatch centers around that state that dispatch people on different systems. The fact is that changing a repeater from analog to Digital is pretty easy.

The database is only as good as the info submitted to it, if you notice that they upgrade other channels to digital feel free to submit them, then they will also be in the database.

I have all the other channels in my VHF scanning radio
and never hear anything on them
the other week they crossed the streams for a bigger involved event
that is what prompted me to do something about CFPD dispatch
was just looking for more insight than i have gathered
