Icom: CHIRP and ID-51A plus2 w/Mac OS

Anyone have any experience using CHIRP software to program an iCom ID-51A plus2 on a Mac? The CHIRP site lists the ID-51A as supported, but not sure if it will play nice with the plus2 version. Thanks for any input!

Try an older version of CHIR

I am using an ID-51A+, I had to downgrade the CHIRP to Mac version 20170627, and t works.

That's not the model we are talking about(plus 2 not just a plus). it appears the ID51P2 is not supported yet in chirp.
