For starters, the radio in question is a Wouxun KG-UV3D. Both of these programs used to work at one time, but ever since the last Windows 10 update (which I know is the cause of the problem), Commander will not see the radio, but Chirp works just fine... after I "downgraded" the Prolific driver to 3.3.2.102 which is something I have to do after every Windows update.
PLEASE LET'S NOT TURN THIS INTO A COMPLAINT-FEST ABOUT WINDOWS 10!
PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE PROGRAMMING CABLE! It has worked for several years with NO issues.
PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME THAT IT WORKS JUST FINE WITH YOUR RADIO ON YOUR COMPUTER! That does not help me.
Yes, I know, I don't really need two programs that essentially do the same thing, but I would like to get the Commander program working again if possible.
